STUDIO POLICIES

Attendance Policy

Singing Garden’s vocal studios are in high demand. If you have a time slot please treat it with respect by giving us at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Please make every effort to notify your teacher of any known conflicts so other students on the waitlist can have access to lessons. A lesson without 24 hours notice will be charged the full fee. (We understand emergencies happen and will excuse these situations on a case by case basis) If your teacher needs to miss a lesson, they will reschedule. If you miss a lesson, efforts will be made to find a new time. However, this can not be guaranteed.

Payment Policy

Lessons are a big investment. We pride ourselves in providing flexible payment plans. However, if you can not pay by the date of a lesson, we ask your plan of payment be communicated through email. This allows us to budget around your needs. Laura E.’s Studio Lessons can be paid online via the website here: http://singinggarden.org/payments. If you do not wish to pay via the website, then please pay with a check, Venmo, or cash at each lesson as you go. If you need an invoice, please make a special request for this via email before your first lesson.

Registration Policy

Please be sure to provide me with lots of availability in order to find you a slot. Be as specific as possible about sports, concerts, rehearsals and outside activity conflicts through the term you are registering for. You are a high priority, therefore, I will find a way to work around challenges as best I can. However, remember your absence gifts another students wanting private lessons a space.

Health Policy

There have been changes in our health protocols. Please read carefully.
At The Guzmán Dance Studio and Onondaga Community College locations we offer a 6 foot sanitized spaced distance from every singing student. The teacher may come into the student’s space for less than 5 minutes of time to make physical adjustments. If you are at Guzmán’s Voice Studio there is an AirDoctor Air purifier running in the room. If the weather and soundscape allows, windows or doors will be open.
Students are not required to wear a mask at this time.

Students are trusted to NOT come to the studio with a fever. Please do not take fever reducing medications and then come to the studio EVER. Please sanitize your hands before and after your lessons. Stay mindful of any symptoms of strep throat, RSV, flu, or COVID. If you have any of these symptoms, the studio trusts you to cancel your lesson. Thank you for working together to stay healthy, safe, and respectful of everyone’s different comfort levels with health protocols.
